Welcome to the website of the LaSsO research group!!!
The scientific activities of the Laboratory Of Optical Spectroscoy group focus on the investigations of optical, vibrational, and magnetic properties of
layered van der Waals materials, e.g. WS2, MoTe2, and CrCl3, and their artificially-stacked heterostructures.
We employ a variety of optical microscopy techniques, such as Raman scattering, photoluminescence (PL), PL excitation, and reflectance contrast
performed as a function of temperature (4.2 K - 350 K), in magnetic fields up to 17 T, in the pressure range up to 100 GPa.
